Global Funding Bodies

NIH allots nearly $65 million annually for the determination of protein structure. National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), Prevention Research, has funded $358.1 million in 2015. Annually, the California state invests $10-12 million in cancer research, while The National Cancer Institute (NCI) in United States spends $4.8 to $5.2 billion in cancer research. The University of Leeds is financing £17 million in a state-of-the-art laboratory for structural biology research.
